President: Shara J. Bajurin, CCLS

Shara Bajurin is President. She has served as representative to the Bay Area Legal Secretaries Forum, served as Scholarship Chairman, and recently served two years as Governor. Shara received her degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico. She is employed at Carr, McClellan, Ingersoll, Thompson & Horn in Burlingame, CA.

 First Vice President: JoAnne Lein

 JoAnne is First Vice President and the Membership Chairman. JoAnne has previously served as Registration Chairman and has chaired several holiday events for SMCLSA. She is employed by the law firm of Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy in Burlingame, CA.

Second Vice President: Candy De Souza

Candy De Souza is Second Vice President and the Program Chairman. Candy owns the court reporting business De Souza & Associates. She has won awards for her volunteer service with San Mateo County Legal Aid Society, and has been a long-time member and volunteer with SMCLSA.

Recording Secretary: Donna A. Bottarini

Donna is Recording Secretary. She works at Sequoia Hospital and is completing a college degree in the evenings. Donna assisted with the Association's Legal Secretary Training Program in 2008, and served as Historian.
 

Treasurer: Cynthia Woodman

Cynthia is Treasurer. She has served as President and Governor, as well as the LSI Career Promotion and Scholarship Chairman. Cynthia is a Senior Paralegal at Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. in Foster City, CA.

Governor: Carol Karwatt

Carol is Governor. She previously served two years as President, served as Second Vice President and Program Chairman for two terms, and Treasurer for two terms. She currently works at Corey, Luzaich, Pliska, De Ghetaldi & Nastari, LLP in Millbrae. Carol is also an Assistant Editor on the Publications Revision Committee of LSI.

Co-Governor: Nancy O'Shea, CCLS

Nancy is Co-Govorner. She previously served two terms as Treasurer and two terms as Governor. Nancy also served as co-chair of the Association's Legal Secretary Training Program in 2008. Nancy is the mother of twin sons and is pursuing a degree in anthropology. Nancy is employed by the firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Danner, LLP in Palo Alto CA.

Parliamentarian: Denise McNeil

Denise is Parliamentarian. She is employed by the law firm of Baumann & Hurlimann in Redwood City, CA.
 

Corresponding Secretary: Linda Clark

Linda Clark is Corresponding Secretary. She has served as Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and Historian. She is employed by the law firm of Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy in Burlingame, CA.
